We appreciate your financial support, and we are committed to honoring God with our finances and following His plan to be generous to the world around us. In order to ensure this happens, we have three specific commitments we have promised our community we will abide by both now and in the future:
I. Budget Smart
Budgeting smart means we will always find ways to do more with less. We develop our budget quarterly to ensure we do not overspend and incur unnecessary debt. Every project and opportunity we pursue is done with little to no debt so we can have the freedom to be more generous with our finances.
II. Practice what we Preach
We tithe. We save. We manage. It would be hypocritical for us to ask those in our community to live by principles we are not practicing as a church. We tithe the first 10% of our income every month. We save for future projects & goals to minimize debt. We manage what we have on hand through a regular process of assessment and accountability through a finance team.
III. Show Crazy Love
Generosity is at the heart of our financial plan. In addition to the 10% we tithe, we budget to give away another 20% of our income annually through a variety of outreach efforts that are done both locally and globally. We believe small things done with great love will change the world and those small things are what we call Crazy Love.
